These Estates began as a name and a handful of demos from one John Cameron back in 2006. After a few years knocking around Regina, Saskatchewan and its environs as a four-piece power-pop band, These Estates clicked into place as a power trio in 2012 with their “Soiled Hands” b/w “Autumn in a Foreign Country” 7″. The band’s eventual – and current – songwriting and performing lineup of Cameron, Matt Carr, and Mason Pitzel took the single’s shaggier, earthier rock and honed it for two subsequent independent full-length releases (2014’s The Dignity of Man and immediate followup Triumph, Reign). All three of these releases are now available digitally under the Comedy Minus One umbrella, with newer material hopefully following soon thereafter. You’re gonna love ’em.
